Welcome to the secret laboratory Elevator Station, the testing site for our brand new elevator design. You'll oversee the design as you send then elevator flying into space, or crashing into the ground - in the name of science! Going deeper allows you to find new technology buried under the ground.

just found out there is a floor past hyperspace
How!? Well, that's a bug to fix by next year...
Got to what would be lower mantle (its 660 to 2900 km deep), I got to 768.5km deep!
got past that to 938.6km
now 1200km
2100km
Is there more content after reaching lightspeed, or the new version ends there?

Made it to the mantle, I'm satisfied for now :-)
For anyone wondering:
my bought upgrades are 30,23 and 4 (cable, aero and jetpack) and i waited till 10 million altitude (1e7) for it to drop

Not at the moment; those are all the components that visibly stick to the elevator, though there are upgrades afterwards that you may have found. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing! I like your suggestion, so the Earth's mantle can now be found 10km below ground (please be warned, it's very hard to reach, and it's only visual).
Found it! It's kinda warm.
Maybe have an ending/another level when you drill to the core and blow up earth or when you make it to another planet like mars?
Can we just drill through the entire planet maybe? That would be hilarious!
Wonderful game! Not sure if anything is beyond deep space. I got to 1.10^e7m. This was a fantastic game, the upgrading mechanic was really balanced and the idea of going up faster is fun! Really great work! Had a whole lot of fun with it!

Really enjoying the update! The new upgrades are wonderful, the elevator is now up to over 1.7^e12m now and I don't know if I can even get it back down anymore!
I'm guessing I have beaten this because I'm in orbit and as far as I can tell it's now just an endless grind for levels. It's a nice idea but I wouldn't mind if it had more to buy and things to do.
Like if you go -1000 meters into the ground the rockets can be upgraded to go faster or cost less for each level up.

A really good idea. Sadly it only lasts a couple of minutes after you reached -75m. Would be happy to see a bigger game. Keep up the great work
